Background to Concept

Initially RaboBank approached RMA to help them create an innovative online savings and investment planner. As the project progressed, the RaboBank team gave RMA the freedom to explore and create related concepts that they felt would add value to a customer's online financial planning.

The Savings Planner concept is about taking customers’ real world spending & savings data and helping them to plan and model their personal wealth aspirations in an engaging way.

Using personas based on the various account holders and their savings priorities we created a visual toolset that lets the user do ‘what-if’ savings planning that integrates real world data from their accounts.

Outcome

In a very rapid timeframe of approximately four weeks from start to delivery, the RaboBank sponsorship team was provided with a fully working prototype of a tool that could be used to demonstrate to internal stakeholders how it is possible to create game changing and innovative user experience.
