RMA have adopted the Adobe Consulting methodology to enable us to work hand in hand with Adobe on strategic customer projects. We are also strong believers in not reinventing the wheel.
The phases within the methodology are “Discover”, “Define”, and "Deliver”. Each of these consulting phases defines a clear step in the process of taking the solution to a business problem from concept into production.
The aim of the discovery phase is to identify or clarify opportunities that can be delivered with Adobe technology, establish some of the key business drivers for these opportunities and identify the criteria for their successful realisation.
During this process, RMA Consulting will aim to expand on the customers vision and help to articulate the business problems that can be solved, and business benefits that can be achieved within your organization.
The Discover process begins with a Discovery Workshop and flows through a collaborative process of discovery using techniques such as:
Define follows on from Discover and is where RMA work with you to develop the business requirements, technical architecture and information architecture necessary for the solution to be created.
During define we will take the business vision and high-level requirements identified in Discover and use this to drive out the unambiguous detailed requirements that are necessary to create a solution.
Combining your business knowledge with our highly skilled solution architects, the team will consider and envision possible architectures, develop and create an engaging user experience and define the technical platform.
In addition, RMA will work with you to assess and mitigate for any risk in the development, deployment and acceptance of the solution and provide accurate estimates of total effort.
The process for creating requirements is a highly collaborative one involving a series of user story workshops and discussions driving into ever greater detail about the functionality required.
Delivery of the solution is achieved using an iterative delivery of stories within the context of an overall Release Plan. Each iteration is a fixed length of time, within which we will deliver a prescribed set of stories. The projected number of iterations and their length is defined in the Release Plan.
At the end of each Iteration, RMA will deliver a code drop which the customer is expected to test and verify. This allows the parallel running of coding and testing which has the effect of driving out defects earlier and allowing the shortest possible time to delivery.
RMA are an organisation with 100's of years of IT experience in building solutions that exploit the latest technology available. We aim to exceed customer expectations using our blend of design and technology skills combined with a proven approach equals success.
